Introduction:
X-Plane 12 is an ultra-realistic aircraft pilot simulator from Laminar Research. According to the developers, the game was created with the involvement of real pilots and engineers, which is why it features nearly perfect physics with recreated aircraft characteristics. It also includes a real-world map, volumetric clouds, water, ground objects, forests, a photometric lighting model, seasonal textures, and weather effects based on data from actual weather stations. Currently, X-Plane 12 allows the control of only 8 aircraft models, but the developers promise to add more models later.
